Dave and Lois Cho dreamed of making wine in Oregon and created a new path to wine for Asian Americans in the process

Dave and Lois Cho founded CHO Wines in Oregon’s Willamette Valley in 2020, focusing on Pinot Noir and sparkling wine. They believe they are the first Korean-American winery in the state. While they didn’t set out to be first in that, or cultivate a market for Asian American consumers, it just worked out that way.
