About

Clark Coffman joined Wine Spectator in 2025. After working as an R&D chemist for the CDC during the COVID-19 pandemic, he moved to France to pursue a master’s degree in viticulture and enology. He gained hands-on experience at Bordeaux’s Château Smith-Haut-Lafitte and Umbria’s Andrea Formilli Fendi before working as a sommelier at Estiatorio Milos and in sales at Millesima, both in New York City. An Atlanta native and Syracuse University alumnus, he now lives in Williamsburg and is waiting for the Knicks to take the trophy home again.
