The youngest child of Lucia and Angelo Gaja, Giovanni, 33, entered the family business in 2018, following his sisters Gaia, who started at the winery in 2004, and Rossana, who joined in 2006. Together, the siblings represent the fifth generation of the Gaja family to farm vineyards and make wine in Barbaresco and Barolo, Piedmont’s greatest wine regions.
