Gabriella Favara is building bridges for success on the global stage

Gabriella Favara, representing the sixth generation at Sicily’s Donnafugata winery, sees collaboration and communication as the basis for future success. “We’re facing, in the wine sector, so many challenges at this time—all the warnings about alcohol consumption, climate change, sustainability,” she says, naming a few of the big issues. “But,” she adds, perking up, “we also have the new generation that is coming—both as consumers but also in the wineries— they’re working on [these things].”
